That photo was taken in early spring this year when we were driving through the Appalachian Mountains. There was still quite a bit of snow in the upper elevations.

I just bought my diesel in March and love it. Traded a 2007 Dodge 1/2 ton for the Ford. So far it has been cheaper to drive than the Dodge. Do I do enough towing to justify a diesel? No! Am I glad I went with a diesel? Absolutely!!!!!!!!!!

That'll work. This thread originally started back in the pioneer days with " my Quarter horse can pull just a bigger plow than your Clydesdale"

Sorry Idaho, my Shetland pony gets better MPB's. Takes longer to plow the field but it has cheaper operating costs.

The math makes sense. $10,000 more for the truck, 60-80% of that $10,000 you will get back when you sell it, easier to get fuel when your on the road with your trailer pulling into truck bays at truck stops, fuel seems to be more expensive but considering you will you will get more then a 50% increase in MPG fuel is cheaper, and you can't beat the performance. Even if you tow only 5 times a year if a few of them are longer trips well worth it.
