Any gas powered hd tow vehicles

What could I expect when pulling a 274dbh with a chevy 2500 hd 6.0 has gas engine?

6-8 MPG, depending on terrain, wind, and travel speed

I think 8 is a pretty solid number. I have gotten a little less and also a little more. I think it depends on factors such as altitude, speed, wind direction and speed of wind. but overall 8 is the number you can take to the bank.

a lot of factors come into play....what rear end diff does it have? 6 speed automatic? Where you live and terrain play into it as well. I live on the prairies, so pretty flat land and I also use mine as a daily driver...I can hit 13-14 pretty consistently, will drop some in winter time...when pulling out 5th 8-10 is more the norm depending on wind conditions. Best I ever got was 11.5 with a tail wind.
But as far as power goes, I am quite happy with it.

The F150 Ecoboost was 8 mpg towing and 18 dry without hitting the turbos too much.
