Im a dodge guy from way back [1970 Plymouth duster 340] so I really appreciate all the good feedback you got about the 2500 ram. Am talking to a dealer right now about a 2015 2500 6.4 hemi 4.10 rear and it looks really good. we have a 34' TT that tops out around #8550lbs so thers room to grow. thanks for all the good info.
I just built a 2015 F150 XLT SCrew 4x4 with the HD Payload package (includes MaxTow) and the 3.5L Ecoboost. MSRP was right at $47K. Should be able to get out the door for just over $40k. If you wait until Ford starts offering incentives (only $500 as of right now) you should be able to get that truck for high $30's. If you are adding all the bells and whistles- it's easy to add over $20K to the price on any brand new truck. That's insane, IMO.

Thumbs up Ram 2500

I agree about the options. Cant understand why if we want a sliding rear window we need to get a whole package! They sure have us pegged. I have 2 brothers who work at fords so its not about the plans or rebates. Thanks so much for the feedback!

Yeah, lots of great responses to my original question. I decided to go with the 6.4L/4.10 combo also. I doubt my current rig will even drop the rear end but it gives me huge room to upgrade in the future which we plan to do. Mine is coming in at about $36,500 after all the dust clears.

I love it. Very nice.
I have the 5.7 in my work rig and love it and the Cummins in my TV.
Enjoy.
