Anyone use an air deflector?

Has anyone ever tried an air deflector to improve mileage while towing? There are several out there. Found this one with a quick search: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...dp_o_pC_nS_ttl

The manufacturer claims 3+ mpg increase...I've seen reviews that claim 1-2mpg increase. I'm sure there are a lot of factors (type of vehicle, trailer, etc...). Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them or feedback. Granted, it would take quite a while to recoup the cost with only 1-3mpg increase.

I have heard that if you use an air deflector, you should tie down the propane tank cover due to the vacuum that is created between the TV and the trailer.
Thanks!

This was discussed a few months back... and not anyone responded that they were using one, that I remember. One thing to think about is down force created by the deflector. Seems to me that it could overload the truck suspension. My son builds race car parts and I build large model gliders. We are about to start producing race car wings. Many will actually produce close to 2,000# of down force, but they also create a lot of drag. For fuel economy, you'd probably be better off managing the airflow around the square back of the camper. There's as much drag created there as in the front, if not more.
