Apex 215RBK and Dodge 1500

I'm wondering if I can tow it comfortably. I think the Ecodeisel can tow up to 7500lb or something like that.

Depends on how your Ecodiesel is configured. Use this website to start. Select your cab size, engine and select 4x2 or 4x4.
Ram Trucks - Towing Guide - Capacity Chart

With 1/2 tons, its typically the payload capacity that limits you most. Check the sticker on the driver's door to see what your payload or cargo carrying capacity are. Coachmen's website says the GVWR for the Apex 215RBK is 6500#. Use the GVWR - ignore the advertised UVW, they are notoriously optimistic. Assume a 10-15% tongue weight, so you'd probably need to be able to handle an extra 700-900 lbs. including the weight of a good weight distribution hitch.
