Automatic leveling suspension
New to towing. My TV is a 2015 Navigator with automatic leveling suspension. Vehicle manual says to drive a few miles to allow to level, measure height of front wheel well; attach trailer without weight distribution bars and measure again. After pulling a couple of miles, allowing suspension to adjust again, remeasure and apply weight distribution bars. Then adjust tension to halfway between first and second measuring. This results in third chain link. My question is do I have to do this every time, or can I simply use the third chain link from the start on future trips? I'm thinking I will need to allow the truck to "level" before I attach bars each time. Appreciate any help.
