I just drove to Las Vegas and got much better milesage expected with aveage of 20.5 mph (not towing) on the way to LV. I think using the cruise control helped a lot. Almost all of my daily driving is on back roads going between 25-45 mph with a dozen stop signs. My sister had to read the directions for the cruise control but we figured it out.
Leaving LV I ran into strong winds, fog, clouds, and then light rain. This was a short turn-around trip so I was a little tired coming back and took it slower when the road was clear. On the trip home I got an aveage of 18.7 mph.
Will be interesting to see what my towing mph will be on Saturday. Heading out to the beach for a couple of days. Hopefully can use the cruise control again.
I liked how it helped keep the speed where I wanted it with downhills.
