B&W Companion Hitch 2012 Dodge Megacab DRW feedback?

Hi everyone,

Just got a brand new B&W companion hitch with slide and gooseneck package installed.

We pick up our Sandpiper 376BHOK this Tuesday.

It looks mounted in front if the axles and was wondering if anyone on this forum has this set up in a megacab??

This is my first fifth wheel so any feedback would be awesome!

Looking at the instructions, the pivot arms can be mounted in 2 different horizontal positions though it wouldn't appear that the difference is much...maybe 2". If the pivot arms are not in the rear-most position, I would move them to that as long as the king pin centerline is not behind the truck's axle centerline. There is actually 4" of adjustment. I have mine all the way forward with the saddles to the rear. I have no problems with clearance. Just pay attention when backing into tight spots and don't be afraid to pull up.

Got to try out my B&W and love it! Slide it back and protect the truck!!! So far great product!
