So, this is a little off-topic, but I figured I would share it, since we don't often get examples of good customer service. I was actually floored this morning when the service writer from my Dodge dealer called me to let me know that everything was completed on my truck, including removing the old turnover ball, and they were just waiting for the B&W turnover to arrive. Usually, when the writer calls your cell phone, it's bad news. So I was pleasantly surprised by the level of customer service at keeping me informed. Miracles do happen at times!

Hopefully Tweety's has my stuff shipped by now. C'mon UPS!

These are no longer helpful, but I had happened to take them when I last took out the hitch (you know- when I promptly forgot it was out and weeks later drove to storage without my hitch!).

OMG, Doug--this made me laugh so hard, if I HAD been drinking chocolate milk, it would have shot out my nose. Thanks, I needed a good laugh through this annoying saga!

Yep. I have sort of gotten used to getting to the camper without keys. But arriving and pulling up to the camper to realize my HITCH wasn't in the truck... well, it's funny now.

Funnier yet- I like to have a spotter to watch my tailswing so that I don't nick my neighbor's camper. It's easier than jumping out a few times and going to look. So I called my wife and she drove there specially for spotting me while I pulled the camper out. So not only did I waste my time- she got the present too!

Love her dearly- she didn't get me any crap for it. The look of rage (at myself) must have scared it out of her.

I was just looking at my hitch sitting in the garage last night. Realized it had been a year since I waxed it! I know, overkill but......
You could probably appreciate that one Doug!

Well, it's in. The new turnover part anyway. Brought it home from the dealer today--they had some trouble installing it, had to drill some holes in the truck frame as they didn't all line up for some reason, and of course the hole in the bed had to be enlarged since the new ball and the old ball weren't exactly in the same place. But it's in, dammit. Now to find some time to finish the Companion install--family coming over tomorrow for Easter dinner and my house becomes a hotel. Maybe Sunday...
