Balanced all four tires today.

I'm retiring on 12/30 and we are getting ready for our first "snow bird" vacation. Been lurking here and found that it is essential to have the tires balanced. Took them down to the tire shop and got it done. One more item crossed off the "To Do" list.
Thanks to all for the great info here.

Good luck on your trip South. We are headed to Marathon Key on the 22nd for Christmas.
You are very wise to have your tires balanced. You would not believe how many RVers don't balance as if the tires don't go through the same thing your vehicle does. They will last a lot longer and run with less heat build up. Might want to take a look at a tire pressure monitoring system. They are very important. I recommend the TST 507 RV. Good unit and good folks to do business with.

Mike,
We have the 507 TPM system and it works great.
Thanks for the reply and have fun in the Conch Republic.

When we got our tires replaced, they swapped the tires placement, so the sensors were on the wrong tires. Look for it just in case.
We are currently in Marathon Key and soaking up max sun and food! Life is good!
