ball hitch height questio

Greetings all,
I know that this is a vague question but I am setting up a equil-i-zer weight distribution hitch and I'm wondering what to use to a height. Towing with a normal ball hitch, the top of my ball was 21.5 and that might have been a little low. I'm thinking of setting the wdh to 22 which still might be a little low for a normal hitch, I'm thinking with the bars I'll be at what would be 23".
I'm towing a 2005 roo 21ss, with a 2014 ram Laramie 4x2 stock.

Can anyone chime in with a good height?

Thanks,

Brian

All of the calculations for hitch ball height are in the installation manual. Here is a link: http://www.equalizerhitch.com/pdf/EQOwnersManual.pdf
