Guys & Gals
I just entered brake controller into the FR search engine and got quite a bit of info already on web site. However am looking at a Hopkins product, which is not covered.

Tekonsha - Prodigy® P2
Has worked well for me on 2 different 5th wheels.
( one was 7,500# and now 10,400#)

Tekonsha either P2 or P3.

What is the model number of the Hopkins you're looking at?

For price and performance, Tekonshas P2 Or P3.
By FAR, the most popular BC in the RV community.

"Ditto" the P2 or P3, can't go wrong. Read up on the capabilities of each and then chose.

I've had the same original Prodigy since 2003, on 3 tow vehicles, for 2 campers. The current Prodigy P2 is basically the same. Prodigy P3 functions the same, but has a better user interface.
