Brake Controller?

Have 2005 GMC 1500. What is a good brand and model? Towing 5000 pounds.

I would say something from Tekonsha would do fine for you. I have a prodigy P3 and love it but I have heard good things about the P2 as well.
Just don't buy the cheapest one you find, the brake controller is a pretty important piece of your tow rig and you really get what you pay for.
