This is so true I had my pin stolen out of my hitch in a parking lot so now I have a locking pin so never put the loop of the cable over the ball attach to your tv
The Receiver is the portion of the hitch that is bolted or welded to the TV. Kinda hard to remove. The safety chains hook to this as does the breakaway cable.
