We buy a lot from Walmart. Many other store went belly up including K Mart, Sears, Woolworth, Zellers and Target declared bankruptcy 2 years after entering Canada.

My clothes today with exception of shoes are all from Walmart.

Pick your state or province ~~ I have not been in one of those places in 35 years and have no plans of ever doing so in the future. May even find yourself online here ~~~

Seems to me you would only want to added DEF to your tank when the DIC says it's low since it can be date sensitive and that would keep the freshest DEF in the tank.

I keep my DEF tank about full all the time, never had a problem. I buy from Walmart when they have it, I don't even bother checking the date. At my local Walmart they is never any dust on the containers of def at Walmart.

I checked the date on the SuperTech brand of DEF at WallyWorld the other night and it was date stamped 2/5/16 so that would seem pretty fresh. The clerk in automotive said the stuff blows of the shelves 2.5 gallons for $7.88

The Sam's Club right next door sells the Peak Blue DEF for $10.99 for 2.5 gallons so about $3 more if you prefer that brand.

Wal-Mart doesn't MAKE anything. They only buy and resell. SuperTech is made and packaged for Wal-Mart by Peak... Why pay another $3.00 per gallon for the same stuff?

JUST REMEMBER....DON'T ACCIDENTALLY PUT DEF INTO THE FUEL TANK. Very costly mistake. ,Don't ask me how I know. Sometimes you can be absent minded while fueling when you are tired. Both fill necks are next to each other on my Ram. I know, no excuse but a very valuable lesson learned.

Walmart owns very little of their inventory. Most vendors don't get paid till after the product sells and if Walmart thinks it should be on sale the vendors just makes less money. I guess I'm jealous that I can not do it in my small business since we are cash only on products we sell.
