Can my Titan tow this?
Can I tow a Palomino Puma 230FBS 5th wheel with my 06 Nissan Titan 4x4 king cab (no tow package)? I have been towing an 06 Nash 21.5 5th wheel just fine, but the hitch weight is 770lbs compared to the Puma's 1100 lb hitch weight. Dry weight on the Puma is 6150. Please help me, this is a hard decision!

I would say no. Titans don't handle heavy 5er's very well. Can you pull it? yes. Safely...there is the question. If the Titan is a crew cab it cuts it even further...The tow package would be an asset, but 1100 on the pin would be too much IMHO.

Your gross in a non tow package Titan is 7200 lbs. I think you will be over that in full ready to camp gear...

I usually tow by myself (125lbs) and have always been aware to not load the 5th wheel with a lot of stuff and always tow with dry tanks. The heaviest things are the battery and propane tank. I put most of my gear in the back seat of my truck. Is 1100 lbs really that much of an increase over 770lbs in hitch weight that makes it unsafe for me to tow?

what's the payload capacity on your truck's driver's door sticker?
i bet it's really low with no tow package. 
i wouldn't tow any RV, without a factory tow package, ESPECIALLY a 5th wheel.
and did you actually weigh the Nash's hitch weight or are you using the fictional brochure/website "dry" hitch weight number?

What does the yellow sticker say on your door jamb for Cargo Carrying Capacity? Whether you put stuff in your trailer or in the back seat it still counts.
The gross weight of the trailer 1200 lbs over your stated tow capacity. I would say based upon the low tow capacity and towing package this is a no go. The tow package included things like extra heavy springs, transmission and oil cooler, tow/haul switch that changes the way the transmission shifts etc.
I owned a 08 Titan as a work supplied truck. Hauling work equipment, in this case a transmitter, the rear spring broke. Was a cab and a half. Had power but no capacity! Running with a cap (600 lbs) took up most of the CCC and left little for other stuff.
Be careful and do not let salesman's Sam and the Sales Manager Slickback Sidney talk you into it.

Sound advice right there. I've owned a Titan since 08, and I have heard horror stories about 5er's and Titans. All the weight is behind the rear wheels. Not an ideal setup. Towing one will never cross my mind, unless I get a new truck.

This is the result of too much camper for the truck.
While it may just tow fine normally, any road hazard could spell disaster.
"Heck, I saw it tow the Space Shuttle on TV!" 
(Looks like the family, including the dog, are safe on the side of the road, thank God)

Towing with a Titan is fine
I brought a 2015 Rockwood 8280ws that has a dry weight of 7850lbs and king pin weight of 1050. I was told by a dealer that my 2012 Titan had the tow package rated at 9500 lbs. and the king pin rating of 1400 lbs. I added a heavy duty transmission cooler and a roadmaster load lever and haven't had any problems at all. I think I am grossing out at about 8400 lbs.
I now find that I just had the 2.94 ratio axle rated at 7400 lbs. I have been towing on flat land in Florida and Ga. for about 4,000 miles on 10 outings with out any problems.
After finding out about the 2.94 ratio rear axle, I upgraded to a 3.73 ratio axle for towing in the mountains. It sounds like you have the heavy tow package rated at 9500 lbs. and should have any problem. Take a look at the youtube video of a heavy tow Titan run on the 12.000 ft. Ike Guantlet run towing 10,000 lbs. This is a test versus the Ford and Chevy.

Not safely. I have a Trundra and did extensive research on trying to tow a 5ver. Can you pull it yes; safety no. It's about the axel weight and breaking that a 1/2 ton is not designed to do. God forbid you have an accident and someone is hurt and you'll be liable. I ended up with a towable until I buy a 3/4 ton diesel with exhaust brakes.

the OP already stated that it DOESN'T have the factory tow package, so the 9500lbs. number is wrong for his Titan.
it'll be much lower, without the tow package.
