Cat scales

Finally went to the cat scales at the truck stop near me. This with myself, wife, 3 year old in a car seat, 9 year old in a booster seat, stuff needed in the truck, the trailer load for camping. And for some reason other online towing calculators were either said I was over my GCWR or under. Attached is the PDF of the cat scales weights.

And what does your truck list your FAWR, RAWR, GVWR, and GCWR as?

My truck is a 2014 f150 5.0 supercrew 4*4 3.55diff. the GCWR is 13500. The FGAWR is 3750, the RGAWR is 3850. And the GVWR of my truck is 7350. And a tow rating of 7700. So I'm approximately 250 under my RGAWR. As we are heading to Texas for 14 days, for a funeral for a family member. So we figured we would camp. I just thought I would weight us.

Looks like you've got a pretty well matched setup then, enjoy!

If you want to check the ratings of the travel trailer itself, you need more information. You can tell that about 4880 pounds are carried by the trailer axles but you can't tell how much tongue weight you have. Or if you are properly restoring enough weight to the truck's steer/front axle.

To get a more complete picture, travel trailer owners should do 3 weightings:

1, truck + trailer w/ WDH engaged
2, truck + trailer w/o WDH (just coupler on ball)
3, truck only

Then plug them into here:
Actual Weights - Travel Trailer/Bumper Pull Weights from CAT Scales - TowingPlanner

More complete instructions can be found here:
