Certainly not how you want your weekend to begin...

I certainly hope that the family got out alright. These pics were taken at the Pilot truck stop located at exit 4 in Covington, Indiana.

looks like either a kitchen fire or some kind of electrical. doubt it was the automotive systems.

Some people torch their RVs to get the insurance money, so you could be looking at that.

This one was probably considered totaled and is on it's way to be scrapped for the parts - engine and tranny probably still worth a good bit of money.

Wincrasher, I am familiar with someone who I believe torched their MH to get the insurance money once we brought out CC home. "Just keeping up with the Jones'." They went from a well used '86 or so MH to a 2003 Cougar TT. Yay!

You would think with today's forensics, fires would be easy to detect root cause. Owner risks big fine or maybe even jail for arson and insurance fraud.
