Truck looks great...you would think when they redesigned the trucks, they could have done a little more with the tow mirror design (same style since 2007)!

I think those mirrors are going to be on the soon to be GMC Terrain 2500HD.

Please post a link to the article on the new 2015 HD, I'd be interested in reading it.

Thanks

These are not available yet. It has been years since GM re-designed their tow mirrors and they are much needed. Still no power extend, but the power fold will be nice and they even have backup lights. These are from the new Silverado High Country HD that also is not availalble yet. You can bet when the mirrors are available they will be on my 2015 HD.

Yes I've read that article. the High Country packsge is supposed to be the answer to the Denali.I have the literature on the 2500hd High Country, but no pricing as of yet. Should see some on dealer lots in the next sixty days.

Yep, I'm in the process of ordering a 3500HD GMC. I hope they put the new chrome covered mirrors on them. Love the truck

I don't believe you will be sorry going with the 2015 GMC HD. I am very happy with mine. Please post some pics when you get it. Btw, it took 5 weeks for mine to come in after I ordered it. They told me it would take 6 to 8 weeks.

Does the OP know these mirrors pull out even wider for better towing visiblity?
My 2006 2500HD has the same mirrors and they easily slide out about 4 more inches. Great mirrors

Yes I know, I just hadn't done it yet when I took the picture. I pulled the fiver to my house with my other truck and had just hooked up for the first time with this truck. When I drove off I had them out. Thanks for your concern

I'm sure it's just me, but the mirrors are the only thing I'm disappointed with on my 2011 dmax. I don't feel like I can ever see as much as I need when backing up and/or especially turning when backing. For some reason, I always feel that the top and bottom mirrors need to be flipped. Again, I'm sure it's just me and my personal preference and maybe the progressive lens glasses I wear. LOL I do love these Chevy and GMCs though.

Not to take this too far off topic, but has anyone had to replace the power wire in behind mirror. When I extend the mirror I have no power adjustment control. Slide it back in it may work and if not jiggling the wires makes it work again. The wire folds over from sliding in / out and Im sure the wire has a break or short.
