Check them wheel lugs...

After my safe and thankfully uneventful 1700 trip to bring home our new Sabre on Tuesday, last night my dually started making a bad thumping sound when I applied brakes. Didn't look at it but realized this morning I should not drive until I know what the cause is.... Almost lost my left front wheel due to lose lug nuts! I had forgotten my mechanic pulled both front tire a couple weeks ago to check brakes and bearings, and I never checked the lugs after 50-100 miles. I'm very lucky I didn't cause a major wreck on my travels! Reminder to all, check both tow vehicle and camper lugs regularly.
Sheeesh, about sick to my stomach thinking about it.

Wow, thank goodness nothing major happened! (I'm borderline OCD concerning my tires on everything.)

Just replaced my tires today, Costco want it back after 25-50 miles to check lugs.
