chevy 1500

Just purchased a Surveyor Cadet SC294QBLE(dry weight 5600) then the 2007 F150 engine goes before even using it. Just Purchased a 2012 Chevy 1500 with trailer option, ITBC and 3.43 rear end. Was wondering how ITBC performs. i still have the aftermarket brake controller off the Ford. Thanks for the help, my first RV.

I have a 2013 with the 5.3, 3.42 and it does just fine. Pulled the RV onto scales last year and it was 5900 lbs. loaded. Travel at 60mph and average between 9 and 11 mpg. I would assume that the ITBC would be the same one as the 2500. Never seen one on the 1500. Should do just fine because all you will have to adjust is how hard the brakes grab.

I never seen one on a pre '14 1500, I had a 2010 1500 with the max towing package and no ITBC on it. Any way's it'll work fine,
