Yea I was looking at that too. The current length of my TT is 33'10" off the bumper. The 5er is listed at 42' overall. It's huge in comparison to the TT, but it's for the future. Kids growing and extra family tagging along. I still can't believe my wife is onboard. Got to be the 2 full bathrooms. Lol

Cool! Believe me when I tell you. Yes, looks huge. The height has a lot to do with that tho. With the length you are now the 42 footer will not be any longer behind you. And as I say and the last poster did and I can wholeheartedly say now cause I know, they tow so nice. We picked ours up in September. They are solid on the highway. No more waves if a tractor trailer goes by. Now you are the one making the waves. 2 bathrooms are awesome and if I may say, if the wife's on board, strike while the irons hot man!!! Lol.. Minds change..

It's on the lot now, could pick it up next week if they deal in the hitch.

Give them the bottom line. Throw in or at very least meet you halfway on the hitch. But make sure if they do they are being honest. Check prices. I like gotchrome.com and etrailer.com. Best prices for it all. They really should do you a deal on the hitch if they want the sale. Do you have other dealers around. If they think you will go elsewhere they might step up. Hope it works out. Let me know. Love to hear of another 5er on the road!!

Camping World just had the Reese 16K for $600 and the charge about $500 to install. Those numbers don't appear to be that far off.

$200-$250/hr labor is a little steep. If it takes them over 2 hrs, you are at the wrong place to have it done.

Hold your ground, he'll come around. May take a few days, but he will either get reasonable or give it to you with the deal. I'd wait for the free deal.
