Had a tire shred on my 37 foot TT coming out of Kerrville, TX. Had to stop in the asphalt triangle at an exit off I-10. Fortunately had 2 axles. Naturally it was on the drivers side so I was jacking up the trailer with 18 wheelers going by 4 feet away.
Prior to that time I wasn't checking the tires very often. Now I check them Every
Day when travelling.

Must have been small,,, but sharp ???
It had to have happened between Hershey PA and Atlantic City NJ. Those PA Highways are the worst I have ever been on and I probably hit something and just thought it was the road. What do the PA highway tolls go to anyway? Worst roads I have been on, (I thought WV was bad until we went to PA). I never saw anything in the road but I will admit this is my first road trip out east so I am not always paying a super close eye on the road.
Thanks

Well worth one time fee of 165.00.
Huh, I didn't know anyone offered a deal like that. I made the mistake of going to my local Big-O tire in CA. I have not seen any since we left, I should have got tires at a place like Firestone, Good Year, Pep Boys, somewhere where they have shops all across the country. Next time...
Thanks

Yep, looked but none around me. As I stated, I haven't seen any on this trip but all the other shops I mentioned I have seen near everywhere we camped going across the country.
