Coupler height

What is the coupler height on a 2010 Salem 29FKSS?

18~22 inches is pretty much standard coupler height, trailer level, on level ground. The smaller lightweight trailers will be down around 18, while the larger and longer trailers may reach 22 inches.

Didn't say why you needed/wanted to know. If setting up hitch, it is best to set it up with your trailer, and take exact measurements.

Hi Bob,
Welcome to FRF.

Your question has got me thinking(which is dangerous in itself). Looks to me, the manufacturer would list that in the trailer specs.

Don't hold me to it, but I think FR hitches are in the neighborhood from 19.5" to 22". I don't guess that'll help though.

This is needed to get a rough setting for hitch height. Is the 22 in to the top of coupler?

Yea, 22 inches would pretty much be the height to top of coupler. Leave all the bolts loose, throw the hitch in the tow vehicle, take all the required wrenches, and set it up when you get there. Take careful measurements, set it up as best you can, and you're still going to have to adjust it. There is almost no way to set up a hitch without the trailer, and many have tried and failed. If you are going to do it, take your wrenches with you!!!!!!
