Crappy American Made Tires

OK, this is a little "tongue in cheek" as counter-point to all of the carping about Chineese tires. However, this may be of interest to some of you as you may have the tire on your TV.

The last time I used Maxxis tires was on my son's racing Go Kart......seriously. They were good racing tires and he won a few races on them.

Some people have reported that some Goodyear Marathons are made here.

I would love to find some for my small trailer. Not even a year old and they already have large cracks in the sidewall. I can't find a place of origin, but I would imagine they are from China.

I just put new tires on my trailer. They were made in Korea. Kumho 857.

Just a note here though. The original post is about Tow Vehicle tires begin recalled.
