Well, went to the Toyota dealer over lunch to look around and walked out with a '12 Highlander with the towing package (5000# towing cap/500# tongue).
We were tenters so I don't expect we'll be going larger than the 1910.

Thanks again everyone. I'm glad I found this place before I ruined my wife's Outback.

Excellent decision, Dr. It's always nice to see a wise person come into a forum, ask for information/help, then analyze the inputs from others and make a sound decision. GOOD job! You will be served well by your Highlander and others on the road will also be safer for your wisdom.
