Just wait until Toyota offers a deisel, then we can really start up these old arguments as if they were brand new!

My perfect truck would have:

Chevy drivetrain
Dodge body
Ford electronics package
Toyota reliability

The original poster is asking for opinions. I don't see any hijacking occurring. Opinions are being offered. As for what manufacturer to buy, consider the new, redesigned 2013 Dodge Ram. One sweet looking truck.

I would take the duramax and the Allison everything else in front of it and behind it are not up to par. Transfer cases are scary and the front ends. Worked on too many and heard to many bad stories.

So, now that you have the truck first you have to make sure you match the trailer weight to the vehicle.

This limits your choice of trailers to what the truck can deal with.

Of course, you can still get a very nice 5th wheel that will still be within the Ford's ratings/capabilities.

Oh cry me a river...

The OP said, "I really think I like the ford 6.7 power stroke better than the dodge and Chevy but am open to your opinions. Please help!"

We are just telling what we think is best about the brand we bought.

When people ask for our opinions, they are going to open it up to debate. I'll say this much, at least no one on this group is bashing one another about their choices, I love that about this group.

just my two cents....

And smile and
