I think that kid's uncle had a quick look at his instant fuel efficiency gauge for a second while he was going downhill and his foot off the pedal.

Hummmm...

My F250 would not get 28 MPG if I loaded it on another rig and let it idle the whole trip....

My 1983 GMC Jimmy got great gas milage when I would shift into Netural and kill the engine when going down a long hill. The cab mounts were rusted out so bad that when i took a corner too fast the truck cab would yank on the detent cable and downshift no matter if I wanted it or not. Made for some real fun manuvers in the rain. That thing was a blast!! There was not a gaurd rail in St. Charles County, MO that it didn't like.

That's like where I used to work, some people were worried somebody might make more than they did. I didn't give a rat's ass about anybody else's check except mine.

For those watching, in all honesty, I averaged 18 mpg, empty driving my new to me 06 GMC 3500 CC 4x4 drw. Got as good as 19 going 55-60, but 18 was done by hand after refilling. BTW, so nice to drive!
