Point is Diesel is $.57 cheaper than Gas. And this costs less to run down the road and tow. I even made it relate in US Dollars / US Gallons.

What I get is that the diesel is cheaper than gas. Doesn't matter if it is gallon or litre.

All over CT, diesel is MORE expensive than regular or mid-grade gasoline. Some pumps it's still more expensive than premium. I tow with a diesel and jumped for joy when prices began to fall. The over-the-road tax load per gallon here is a killer. On the road I have a few more choices.

Why is your fuel costs still sky high compared to the US. Are your taxes that punishing. It doesn't make sense, your oil reserves are huge. What gives?

The CDN dollar is worth 79 cents US. Our gas was 92 cents a litre last week but the Oil Prices on the world stage can have it change 10 cents a litre in a week. We have reserves but that is Oil Sands and with currently oil glut in the middle east too costly to produce not to mention environmental impact.

I am really hoping the CDN dollar gets to 95 cents then we will buy the new Fifth Wheel. Right now it is a kiiler with some dealer stock purchased with 30 cents on the dollar exchange.
