What is that, about 1 1/2" between the glass and the corner?

Looks as though you could do 90 degrees without a problem if you engaged the slider hitch.

Yes 90° is no issue with slider engaged, actually you can go beyond 90 with slider.
Without it ........ nope

Turbs, do you feel like you would ever need/want to turn sharper than that?
Just curious, cause I can count the #of times I got close to 90° turning my goosenecks, on one hand. And never had a need too with a camper thus far. I get worried about tires and axles getting strained (unless the goosenecks are empty).

turned a little over 90 degrees yesterday. I hit the handle and slightly disengaged the king pin and slightly bent the handle. good thing it was caught right away and no real damage was done

Dang, that sux. Good thing it wasn't bad!
I feel sorry for your trailer too, that puts an auful strain on it, even if it is a lighter unit. Its ok in an emergency, but I'd try hard to not do it. My $ .02

these pictures are with the superglide all the way back, my pin is about 2 inches fdw on the axle centerline in the most fdw position and is around 15 back in the most aft position. on another note don't think I would ever go this far , but getting into my driveway I am pretty close to 80

^^^^ that is about as far I go getting to the driveway, maybe a little more because of the overhang and the stupid trees lining the driveway, plus our street is narrow and both ditches on both sides are pretty close to the road, as you can see in the far of the pict
