My duramax starter has more torque than your Cummins engine.

I 'll just throw the above 2 items in the sand box or the garage which ever you prefer. Now it's beer thirty and I'm going to get some pretzels and cheese and crack open a frosty one and monitor the thread. this might be better than Saturday Night Live.

Umm, Dudes!?!?!? Back on topic??

As for the Dodge 1/2 ton with the VM diesel, this is a GREAT announcement, as I want to eventually upgrade my tractor to something a little bigger, and just use the tractor as my daily driving vehicle.

Not everyone needs 850 FT/lbs of torque. As for me, this is a perfect size. This could be my first pickup since my 91 F350 with a 7.3 idi Banks Turbo.

i guess an adhesive patch is cheaper than making it right the first time, or double nutting the darn thing. how about a castle nut and cotter pin?

i wonder what its tow rating will be.

I am anxiuos to see what the final specs are for this. The article I read today din't show them. This could be an excellent option for people towing with 1/2 tons.

You have to ask where the moderators are on this one? Talk about getting off topic!

If it sounds like all the rest of the Dodge diesels, it will just be the noisest little truck on the road unless it's hooked to a tow truck.
