Draw Tite 5th wheel

Just traded my travel trailer on a new Rockwood 8280WS and now need to get a 5th wheel hitch installed in my truck. I have the opportunity to get a 8yr old draw tite (made by reese?) slider for free that has not been used very much. Looking for pros or cons on this hitch or whether I should consider a different one. It's going to get installed into a 2012 F150 supercrew 6.5 box with ecoboost engine with max trailer/payload option.

Congrats on the new 8280WS. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as we've enjoyed with ours.

Is the hitch a sliding bar type to hold the kingpin or double jaws?

I've been using a Reese Pro Series 15K for 3 years and it has the sliding bar. They may develop a little sloppiness over time but I've had no issues with it. One advantage of the sliding bar is that it's nearly impossible to 'high hitch' when hooking up.

Dave,
It's the double jaw type. I'm sure we'll enjoy it as much as you have yours. They told us 8 weeks for it to come in so have 7 to go.
