Dually's, TPMS and Valve Extensions

Thought I would share some info after my experimenting. I had this TPMS on my TT, which works pretty well. https://eezrvproducts.com/ I decided to use another 6 of them for my dually 3500.

I bought the 45 degree and flow through valve extensions found here:
https://eezrvproducts.com/shop?olsPage=products On the front tires and outside rears I used the "anti theft" sensors with the "flow through" extensions. I attached these to my oem valve stems (being careful not to over tighten them) with Loctite and they have worked well. For the rear inside tires I used the "45 degree" valve stems with the "flow through" sensors. I attached them the same way but they will swivel, they are designed to be able to move. These have been a problem because when they move, or you move them to add air, they loosen eventually and develop a slow leak. The solution to this I believe is to drill a small hole and use a set screw to tighten to the oem valve stem. This would allow it to swivel while preventing loosening. That's when I started looking around to see what else was available.

Found this system which uses oem style hardware. https://dillaircontrols.com/dill/cat.../trailer-tpms/
If I were starting fresh this is what I probably would use.

Also found these valve stems which I may use for the inside rears. Also would work without TPMS of course.

Hope this helps someone possibly save some time and aggravation.

My application does not use external tpms. However, I was equally frustrated by valve extenders. I found these. Alligator V2B Inflate Through Valve Stem Cap Gator Auto RV Semi (10 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014VCY3S2..._05ejCbN47RVZS

They work great with standard Milton chuck to fill drws without disassembly of the rears.
