if someone comes on looking for help, and people take the time to reply and help that person. it would be nice to know what fixed it.

I am one that would be interested, and would like to help. Since I bought my Duramax, it has kinda became my hobby. It's like a big kid toy. And, since I am a mechanic I don't trust other mechanics. I have seen some pretty shady repairs in my day. I would rather spend twice as much trying to fix my truck on my own than pay some hack to do it.

My 2005 LLY. Truck would go in limp mode win towing when I get on it hard. Lucky I Had a code reader and reset the code and baby the truck back home. It was low fuel rail pressure. Replace fuel filter problem went away. Traded it for a new 14 dully.

I don't remember the code number, but it was low fuel rail pressure.

Just got a letter from GM on an extended covered for my Duramax. It seems the indirect fuel injector gets stuck closed and they are covering repairs 10yrs/ 120,000 miles.
