any one using one of these on a newer stock truck i have heard thet the filter puts too much strain on the fuel pump so you need a lift pump??

I've yet to change the filter since and I drive 70 miles a day round trip to work n back not including weekend trips n stuff.
Been to goshen indiana and back "10" hours drive time and boulder junction and back 13 hours drive time.

Whoever told you that you need a lift pump with a Nicktane has no idea what they're talking about.

A L.P. is a good thing but not a requirement.

absolutely false...you mostly get into needing lift pumps when you are trying to pump more fuel due to performance tune requirements for more go go! ,)

Or you would like your fuel system to last at least 150k miles. The LB7 most definitely need a lift pump stock or not
