I get between 10.7-12.4 with a GCW of 18000. I'm not complaining.

Wow, this is the most honest postings on fuel mileage I've ever seen. On every other forum people are usually claiming 16 mpg pulling 13000 5er. Thanks for keeping it real here everyone.
With that said, my experiences show that all the diesels when loaded with a 5er puts you in the 10-13 mpg range.

I hear ya, I'm also on the Duramax Forum, like you I was seeing insane tow MPG's, knew I'd get a more honest answer through this forum, reason I started the topic!
Keep up the good work FRF Members

I average around 12 MPG. Have seen over 13 but with the cascades in between most of our destinations it brings the average down.

Knoxville to Cincinnati round trip calculated at 11.7 for the total trip. Mine is an 04 with 161,000 (ish) miles on it. Grossed 18300 that trip per the CAT scales. Most of the driving was between 60 and 65 and cruise control was used when possible.

Just got back from Wyoming and we were getting 10-12 @ 63-65. The ScanGauge really helps out in maximizing fuel economy.
