It is in the Ford owner manual provided with the truck. I believe it is the top row, closet the firewall.

Yes, I looked at the fuse schematic and it went into spot #21. I installed it and it was a 30 amp fuse. Thanks everyone for your help. Something the dealers should know or a paragraph in the manuel should explain.

I have a 2013 F-150 Limited 4x4 3.73 w/Ecoboost. Just traveled to Goshen, IN from FL to pick up my FR Aviator 34' 8000lbs empty & 9000lbs with my wife's stuff and water. Tongue weight empty is 900lbs and 1200lbs with water. I use a Blue Ox load leveling class 4 hitch. Truck empty gets about 17-18 @ 75mph. Towing @ 70 on flat land about 8.5mpg and 10mpg at 60-65mpg. Hill climb mileage drops to about 6.5mpg at 65-70mph. No sway with this hitch, cheaper hitches had sway. Truck pulls like its empty. Just fuel hungry. I have calculated the cost differential per mile between gas and diesel. You would have to pull 140,000 miles to break even with the diesel verse the gas. Just for grins I have pulled as fast as 85mph and truck was still wanting to go. No sway and great breaking.

The house issue from Ford is a pain in the butt with the fuse and relay. And your right, they should include instructions.

If it is in the manuel I would like to know where? First of all, it should state what the relay and fuse are for and where they go. The service dept. at the dealer had not a clue what I was asking about.

Please point out to me where it tells you about the charging relay and fuse and what they are for. Then could you direct me to the part that tells you where to put them.
?

Pop the hood and look in front of the radiator. All the relays are in the black plastic case similar to the fuse panel. The relay and fuse will go in there on #9 or 6. It's in the manual

What page in the manuel does it tell you what the extra relay and fuse are used for and where they go? A paragraph or two should explain that if you are towing a trailer with onboard battery here is what needs to be done and what the extra relay and fuse are for. If it is in the manuel please tell me the page number.

Sorry I am on vacation right now. I will look when I get home Sunday. Look in the fuse section. It will tell you where the "trailer" charging relay and fuse get inserted.

If you did not know about this and bought a new tow vehicle how would you know that the tow vehicle charges the trailer house battery? How would you know what the two extra (relay and fuse) were for? Mine came in the door storage compartment and was not labled. Still waiting for that page and paragraph. Two dealers I called (service dept.) had no clue as to what I was referring to. Go fiqure????? What page anyone?

I don't even have an F150 and I know about it by reading it here in previous posts. That's what these forums are for, isn't it? LOL
