My last tt I had, the suspension was torsion and I used a plate on the frame and a bottle jack.

6 years with no issues.

My "big" 5er has leafs and I jack directly under the axle where the axle pad is.
3 years and no issues.

Just bought 4 of these so I can put 2 in the truck and 2 in TOWTA's junker. Never really thought about it before, but they sure could come in handy while changing a tire, etc while stopped on the road.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to have both a jack and trailer aid tucked away in the trailer.

For my emergency items I am now planning on taking only OldCoot's phone number since I plan on staying local this year.

How am I gonna fit all this stuff in??? Taking my 3 ton floor jack, jack stands, 50 gal air compressor, impact wrench and generator.

So can we agree on what is the best spot to place the jack when changing a tire?

X2

We had the Equaflex suspension added to our Sabre last spring so I was a little concerned the Trailer aid wouldn't lift the tire high enough to be able to change it. I pulled the rig up on the Trailer aid to test things out and it worked, lifted it just aenough for the "bad" tire to spin freely off the gound. I should point out the test was on a level drive at the trailer storage lot. Roadside conditions might produce a different result. Like OC, I'm hoping I never find out.

When you figure out how to mount the work bench and vise to the side of the trailer would you post pictures please?

Akrobins for spare parts?
