Not sure I need the 12k or 10k yet. How much you wanting for it?

I was going to get the 10K originally but figured a loaded camper was going to be around 8~9K with 800~900Lbs TW, so I though it better to have a bit more wiggle room with 12K unit, was not much more in price anyway and after talking to the helpful folks at Progress MFG I decided to get it.

If you want it, it is yours for $200 picked up, not even sure I would want to try and ship, it is stupid heavy.

Equal i zer or Reese Straightline Dual Cam

With the dual cam...in tight turns what keeps the bar from being pulled out the ends? In the you tube vids I've seen they only show the cam riding up the bar towards the ball but they never show what's happening on the other side.
I've never used a sway control as I've never had any sway issues with my light weight trailers and 1 ton trucks but I thought it might be a nice addition for a trip across the plains next month.

I have never had my spring bars come off of the cam. I guess in theory, if you turned sharp enough, then that could happen. But, the truck and trailer angle will only go so far before the bumper hits the tongue frame.

I personally use the reese dual cam straight line hitch. I love this hitch and have never had any issues with the bars coming off or sway issues. I have a tight turn in and out of my driveway and I like this hitch because I don't have to take anything off to back up! All it is is put it in reverse and back up that's it!

Guess I'll have to look at it at an angle after I get it installed to ease my mind. Just doesn't make any sense that it wouldn't slide just as far in both directions.

The ball is not centered between the pivot points of the spring bars. Look at it from above. There are 2 different arcs.

Good point. I knew there was an explanation.

600 mile test today with the Reese Dual Cam. Beautiful pull across Missouri and half of Kansas.
