Equalizer brand hitch and air bags

I have both, and new to towing a TT. Wondering if I should pump up the bags first, to supply an air reserve to the bags, the adjust the equalizer branded hitch with those measurements, or the reverse?

I think I would get the WDH setup correctly 1st. Make sure you are getting enough weight back on the front end of your tow vehicle. If setup properly, there should be little sag in the rear of your TV.

Airbags do nothing to get the weight back on the front end of a TV. You can have the back end of your TV looking like a 70s muscle car, but you will still have a light front axle, and a rear axle that might be over the maximum RAWR,

Mtnguy is correct. Set your hitch up first and you may find that you don't need the airbags.

In vehicles with auto-leveling systems it's always recommended to disable the system before adjusting a WDH. Same holds true for airbag systems.
