Equalizer hitch

Pulling a 34 foot toy hauler travel trailer with a 1 ton dual wheel without an equalizer hitch. Anyone done that?

Are you asking about the actual 4 point Equal-i-zer WDH or are you using the term "equalizer" for any WDH?
Because the Equal-i-zer has integrated sway control, in addition to weight distribution.

I had a 34 foot toy hauler travel trailer that came with the Equalizer brand anti sway and WD set up and always had some sway issues. Worked ok but after getting my Hensley I will not go back. Locked it in even in high side winds in OK and KS.
I think the trailer mags need to design better for weight loading. Most cargo weight in back past axles and can cause more sway.
Hensley a little expensive but safer and much more enjoyable to drive with it.

Unless you are pulling a little toy trailer you should really use a quality weight distribution your hitch.
While on your one ton the back of your TV may not sag much, your trailer will pull weight of of your front end.
