I take it you have the same problem?

I ended up buying the ProPride hitch. Installed it last Friday. I very short test drive seemed promises. We are taking the camper out this weekend and I will be able to give a much better review.

No problem yet as my trailer is in order, but I have a brand new equalizer sitting in my garage that I'll ship back and get my money back...

More power to ya if you want to change hitches but you very likely may not have an issue as this appears to be a rare occurrence. Might want to wait to get your camper and go from there.

But no matter what you decide good luck with your new camper and make sure you use it LOTS!!!!

How do you like the straps for the weight distribution?

Real well so far, I really didn't have a choice (2016 Vlite 30WIKSS with "V" nose). I think what you have is easier to work with for my trailer but would have blocked access to my propane tank doors.....

I'm looking forward to how much you like yours after your first trip.
Wife and I are leaving tomorrow for a quick 3 day trip into Amish country (around 250 miles round trip) with a mix of curvy, tight country highway and some freeway......

I can tell you that Sean at Propride is awesome to work with should you ever need anything......

Our first trip has been delayed for a couple weeks. I will definitely give a good review afterwards. Anxious to hear your opinion after your trip.

Almost perfect on the way to the campground. Before we headed home 2 days later, I brought the wdh bars up one more notch and it was almost as if there was no 8000 lbs trailer behind us. If you look at the route to Amish country (from Sunbury, Ohio to Dundee, Ohio) you'd see its mostly curvy, two lane roads and 55 mph.

It was windy and a little rainy as well. The tracking of the trailer with the Propride 3P was amazing...

if you've towed with anything else, you'll notice a big difference.
Good luck and let me know how you do.

Take care
