Equalizer Spring Arms

Just curious If I have an Equalizer 1,000/10000 Hitch but want to get 1200# spring arms do I have to upgrade entire assembly to the 1200/12000 hitch? The website makes it sound that each spring arm is specific for that hitch and thus you don't have the flexibility to get higher lb spring arms without buying whole assembly.

Other hitches you can up the lbs on torsion bars and read about people doing this based on weights and needs

12 and 14 have the same bar, but the 10 has a skinnier bar is my understanding. Call Progress and find out from them.
