Equalizer with Geny Hitch

I did a mock up of the adapter that I`m in the process of getting these to together. Please note that this is just a mock up of what it will look like. Not for use in anyway shape or form . Click image for larger version

The steel adapter will have a top plate and gussets. A few of you was wondering so I decided to post it now before its done. It should work but if it doesn`t then I`ll use it on my other trailer without WDh .

Why the new thread?
Better to keep this documented in your original.

By the Pic it looks like the Hennsley is on its Side, and a Reese bar type is bolted to it? What is going on here? Youroo!! Is this a "Henresse"!

I thought it would be documented better if I added both hitch names . I tried looking online for any info about this set up. Nothing came about. Geny said it would work with weight distribution. I recently emailed them about building adapter plates for WD heads. but have since seen no relpy yet. I bought this model because it was shorter. Just the geny alone is 8 inches long from truck receiver . So all together from truck receiver end to center of ball is 15.75 inches. May take alittle bit of time to dial it in but I`ll do my best.

It does look sort of like that doesn`t it. Maybe we can come up with a flashy name for it.

Go to geny hitch.com and start reading, too much to list . Main thing I`m after is to break the shock transfer between truck and trailer and vise versa . Its and hit or miss @ this point.

This was discussed on his initial thread.
I think he has a unique problem that he wants to address, that most people do not experience???

I`m going with the game plan that this maybe a cheaper solution to a air hitch. Read what geny hitch claims it does and thought why not mate it up with my current equalizer hitch. Won`t know until I try it .
