Equilizer hitch for 2403 Rockwood

Just about ready to take delivery on a Rockwood 2304. I have a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 with tow package. Just trying to get a heads up on towing set up I may need. Looks like I may have to change the receiver to a higher capacity. Also go to a #1000/10,000 equilizer hitch. The present truck receiver is 500/5000 limit.

For your hitch receiver, there should be a tag as shown below which gives you two ratings: one without a weight distribution hitch and one with? unless yours doesn't....
