Question Experiences with towing w/sunseek 2250 w/chevy

Have been enjoying our 2015 2250SLEC since June with longest trip only few hundred miles. Want to start looking into towing our Prius. Please advise of your experiences and recommendations. Don't want to keep following the RV separately in car. First trip would be close to home on gulf coast....no mountains, though the mountains are calling. Our sunseeker is named "GLORY " and we want to keep her healthy and happy. We waited and worked for her for a l-o-n-g time. Your experiences, recommendations and comments will be very appreciated.

I had a Prius and sold it and bought a Corolla S manual when when got the MH. I wanted to stay with the Toyota reliability. You can't tow a Prius with all four wheels down. Someone on the Priuschat forum has towed there 06 on a dolly but I would not want to as you would need to find a place to stow the dolly when you park. Also the Prius is so low to the ground you would need to be very careful driving it onto a dolly. Mine was so low to the ground you could not crawl under it to get to the oil filter, you had to feel for it. The only Toyota's you can tow 4 down are the Corolla and the Yaris both with a manual transmission only.

Here is an excerpt from RV Net and a link regarding towing 4 down:

I pulled a Prius one summer on a dolly. Didn't have any problems with rear clearance when pulling, but I had to extend the ramps with a couple of 2x6's to keep the front clip from scraping when loading. FWIW, I didn't care for dolly towing. Among the things I hated about it were storing it at the parks, and laying on the ground to hook up safety cables (seems like it was raining every time I did that). Much prefer 4-down towing.

Here is my toad with my 2251
About 4000 lbs loaded with bicycles and gear. (2012 Toyota 4x4 manual with 4 cylinder)
I was impressed with the tow.
Felt the pull on hills and startup(3rd gear at 50 on the steepest hills) and the braking.
Do not have braking on the toad and it seems adequate.
I have to remove (or tie up- I have rigging) the rear driveshaft for long tows- Toyota 4x4's will burn up the rear main trans bearing if towed too far with
the driveshaft spinning.
