I always looked at it as truck mass vs. trailer mass. Bigger, longer, heavier the truck, better it handles the bigger longer heavier trailer. Its as much or more about stopping the load as it is pulling. I don't care what brake controller or brakes the combo has, the guy with the f-150 / blue ridge is gambling hard. If freightliners weren't so pricy I'd own one. We've always opted for the duallies. Had 3 and loved towing with all of them. Fixing to order a new dually in the next month or so, soon to be followed by a new fifth. Just our personal preference. And of course, a Ford.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.
