Hey Scratch, I have about the same weight TT as you and I upgraded from a F150 to a 2012 F350 with the 6.7 diesel. I have the E4 equalizer hitch that I used on the F150 and kept it for the F350. I did have to buy another lower drop shank but I stayed with the 2" shank and use the reducer that came with the truck. I have towed over 3,000 miles with the new set up without issues. It is a pain putting in the heavy insert and trying to keep the reducer from moving though. If I had thought it through more I probably would have went with the 2 1/2" shank. I put the truck in tow haul mode when hooked up as that helps with engine braking on hills. Leave the anti sway on all the time so it can do what it is designed to do.
