Yes A1 is who to call. Contact Tony for details, but they list a set of aftermarket tow mirrors (possibly manual) for $418.

CIPAs will ruin painted mirror caps if you have them. Living proof of that one.

Edit: oops 1A not A1. LOL

F150 Trailer tow mirrors dimensions and effectiveness

I just bought the Syppo 8-pin power mirrors for my 16' F150. They were $270 a set with free shipping.

I have the same set on my f150 2016, except mine must be better cause I paid $300. :-)

I measured the extend a week or so ago and posted it in a similar thread. The extend is about 3" per side. You need to confirm whether your truck harnes has an 8pin or 22 pin connector. The connector is under the small trim directly inside of the mirror. This is also how you access the mirror studs.

I bought a set of aftermarket manually extendable tow mirrors off eBay They were for my 2011 F150. They fit perfectly and were VERY helpful for better view behind. Keep in mind that whatever options are available on your existing mirrors are what you'll have with the new ones. Example, if you don't have power extend now, it won't be available on the new mirrors. If you have heated remote control then you will have those options available on the new ones. It all depends on the wiring harness on your truck.

The mirrors I bought worked well and I was very happy. They were far cheaper than OEM Ford mirrors but looked just like the Ford mirrors.

Yours must be better cause my drivers side mirror has a whistle sound at highway speeds.

Also, for an 8 foot wide trailer being towed by a 2016 F150 with factory tow mirrors can you see all the way down the side of the trailer? I like to really keep an eye on things.

Thanks
Hello, I was just flipping through some old posts and saw your question, I realize this is some 5 months after the fact, but I had your same problem and came up with a very good fix. If you have not corrected your situation I have answers for all of your questions. Have a nice day.
