What brand of hitch is that? Do you have the installation instructions? Those would be helpful for setting it up and for knowing the proper torque values for the bolts. (They will need to be quite tight, probably between 260-300 foot pounds.)

How do you figure it weighs 10,000lbs? The 8310SS Dia has an 8884 GVW. Dry weight around 7000lbs. If you're adding 3000lbs to it then you're packing a lot of gear.

Also with those friction sway control bars you need two for any TT 26' and longer.

As to your spring bars, they should be parallel to the tongue. Add more washers to drop the ends down.

First of all, thank you all for your contributions. Helps me tremendously, and I will be rejigging the setup for the next trip.

To answer some questions, I don't recall the hitch brand (I write this from work - tsk tsk - and the TT and hitch are in storage). Again the dealer set me up. I will be heading back there in the next couple weeks and will have them adjust it.

I derived at 10,000# based on my recent CAT scale info (was done in kilograms vs pounds so I have to convert) and includes not just contents of trailer, but contents of TV, and DW and me. I know I am under all the inputs from my TV and TT stickers. My sheets are at home, so I don't have the exact #'s at hand right now.
